POSTPONED

It is with a very heavy heart that Corvus Angelicus have decided to postpone the remaining performances of “The Angelicus Project”. We have been a victim of our own success. So many people want to see the Angels that we have started to draw a crowd. This was not our intention. Last night in Fishponds the police deemed our performance in breach of Covid guidance so we are having to put things on hold until we can work out a way of the Angels to visit neighbourhoods in full compliance with Covid safety regulations. We are sorry for any disappointment people feel. We feel it too.

With restrictions placed on people’s ability to engage with the live arts, Corvus Angelicus is bringing the arts directly to the people, into the streets where they live.

A pair of luminous stilt walking Angels will visit residential areas of Bristol, accompanied as they perambulate, by an original score by composer Jon Maybey.

We invite people to engage with our Angels through their windows, from their door steps or gardens or follow us, at a Covid safe distance, along our preplanned routes. Our Angels will be accompanied by stewards to ensure everyone’s safety.

The Angelicus project provides creative employment to artists whose llivelihoods have been negatively impacted by the coronovirus and brings love and light, to the communities they are part of. Performances take place in neighbourhoods that are home to one of the stiltwalkers.

Routes subject to change.
