Step into the world of Corvus Angelicus, a circus performance company with a difference. Our stunning collection of winged creations can provide a magical element to any event.
Each is a wearable work of art.
Each has inspired its own musical accompaniment.
When animated by our talented performers, on stilts, on ropes or on the ground these moving musical sculptures become living, breathing, circus art
Corvus Angelicus started life in 2015 with the making of a single black feather for aerial rope act “As the crow flies”. Five thousand feathers later and “The Crow Family” was born
Corvus Angelicus now has a spectacular collection of winged creations, boasting magnificent crows that tumble through the air. Luminous angels spreading love and light and shimmering bejewelled dragons that mesmerise audiences.
The creative force behind Corvus Angelicus is Lyn Routledge, an inspiring figure in the UK’s aerial and circus world. Lyn has spent more than 20 years exploring the possibilities in aerial arts, pushing technical and choreographic boundaries, and making the seemingly impossible possible.
Musical accompaniments are original compositions by Jon Maybey and feature the mesmerising vocal talent of Karen Turner.
